Join the European Archaeology Days in Lithuania

2026 03 19

The European Archaeology Days will be held in Lithuania on June 12–14, 2026.

This is an international event dedicated to the study of archaeological science and archaeological heritage, which will be held in Lithuania and other European countries for the eighth year. The weekend of events will be an opportunity for visitors not only to learn about archaeological science, but also to touch the past in person – to try traditional crafts, get acquainted with the behind-the-scenes of archaeology and discover the history of their own country.

All private and public institutions operating in the fields of archaeological heritage research, preservation and dissemination, as well as archaeological heritage researchers, various communities concerned with the preservation, study and communication of archaeological heritage to the public are invited to join this international initiative.

Last year, almost 50 institutions participated in the initiative, offering about 100 free events throughout Lithuania: education, excursions, lectures, workshops, concerts, archaeological hikes and living archaeology experiences.

We invite you to join and register your events in Lithuania!
