Fire Safety Drills Underway at the National Museum of Lithuania

The National Museum of Lithuania has announced that the Vilnius Fire Rescue Board of the Fire Protection and Rescue Department under Lithuania’s Ministry of the Interior will conduct tactical emergency response drills on May 18, 2026, beginning at 10:00. The exercises will take place at the museum complex located at Arsenalo g. 3 in Vilnius (including both the administration building and the Old Arsenal).

During the drills, visitors may hear alarm signals throughout the museum, notice an increased presence of emergency services and observe evacuation procedures being carried out inside the premises.

Museum officials described the exercises as “an important part of the museum’s safety procedures,” designed to help ensure preparedness in the event of potential emergencies.
