Lithuanian-Speaking Humanoid Robot
Project deadline: August 1, 2026
Lithuania is shaping its scientific history—let’s contribute to its future. We invite the public to become part of a unique project and help create a humanoid robot that will speak Lithuanian and become an interactive part of a museum exhibition on the history of Lithuania’s high technologies. This robot is intended for education, the promotion of technology, and engaging visitors in a living experience of science.
The planned humanoid will be human-sized, equipped with dozens of servo motors enabling movement of the eyes, neck, arms, and fingers. The robot will have cameras, microphones, and facial recognition capabilities, allowing it to detect visitors, greet them, and communicate in Lithuanian.
The robot will be controlled using Lithuanian voice commands. It will be able to understand hundreds of Lithuanian words, perform movements, answer questions, and present topics related to technology and science to museum visitors.
This project is a step toward showcasing Lithuanian technological innovation and promoting science among younger generations. Every contribution will help create a robot that will serve as a living ambassador of technology in the museum and inspire interest in engineering, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
Join us in bringing a Lithuanian-speaking robot to life.
