The building at 26 Pilies Street is known to the residents of Vilnius as the House of Signatories. It was here that the Act of Independence was signed on February 16, 1918. However, the signatories who declared independence referred to this building as the Sztrall House, while the residents of Vilnius in the 17th and 18th centuries called it the Scottish House. During the tour, you will learn why the name of this building changed over time, see the architectural legacy of different historical periods and also have a unique opportunity to visit 15th-century Gothic cellars.

Attention! This tour involves a lot of stair climbing.
