We kindly remind you that only some of the locations of the National Museum of Lithuania will be open on the 1st and 5th of May.

May 1st: Gediminas Castle Tower and the funicular to Gediminas’ Hill, Castellans’ House, The House of Signatories, The Old Arsenal, The Bastion of the Vilnius Defence Wall, House of Histories, The Former Detention House. Other museums of the National Museum of Lithuania will be closed on this day.

May 5th (Mother’s Day): Gediminas Castle Tower and the funicular to Gediminas’ Hill, Castellans’ House, The House of Signatories, The Old Arsenal, Kazys Varnelis House-Museum, The Bastion of the Vilnius Defence Wall, House of Histories, Jonas Šliūpas Museum, The Former Detention House. Other museums of the National Museum of Lithuania will be closed on this day.

The museums that will be open on the 1st and 5th of May will be open during their usual working hours (see more by clicking on the name of the museum that interests you).
