Relevant information to visitors regarding COVID-19

The museum is open to visitors during the regular opening hours.

A National Certificate

A National Certificate is not necessary when visiting the branches of the National Museum of Lithuania and the exhibitions housed there.

A National Certificate is necessary when participating in indoor events, excursions and educational activities as well as when receiving other contact services (with the exception of persons under the age of sixteen (twelve starting 28 December 2021) or in case of other exemptions).

Face masks

Medical masks covering the mouth and nose or respirators are obligatory in all indoor public spaces (for persons from 6 years old). Fabric masks, face shields and other protective means are no longer suitable.

Well-being and extra precautions

To ensure safety, we kindly ask our visitors to:

  • Disinfect hands;
  • Keep safe distance from other visitors and museum staff;
  • Observe the coughing and sneezing etiquette.

It is highly recommended to stay at home if your temperature is 37.2oC or greater or if you have developed acute upper respiratory symptoms such as a runny nose, sneezing, coughing, or difficulty breathing.

Restrictions on the flow of visitors

The number of people visiting the museum at the same time can be limited. If there are more people in the museum than allowed during your visit, we will kindly ask you to wait. Thank you for your patience!
