Call for entries: Vilnius International Calligraphy Competition and Exhibition

2022 05 03

We are kindly inviting European artists to participate in the Vilnius International Calligraphy Competition-Exhibition, organized by Kazys Varnelis House-Museum, department of the Lithuanian National Museum, Italian Cultural Institute and Vilnius Academy of Arts.

By encouraging artists to reflect on these difficult times when the strength and solidarity of European civilization is being tested once again, we look back at the origins of European culture and propose to write down the Latin phrase of the Roman philosopher Seneca:

Non exiguum temporis habemus, sed multum perdidimus
