The collection is comprised of material related to the anti-Nazi and anti-Soviet resistance movement, post-war armed resistance, the dissident movement, and the activity of Soviet repressive structures. These are documents, printed material, photographs, seals, weapons, and various personal belongings. The collection includes all personal belongings of the last guerrilla of Aukštaitija Antanas Kraujelis (1928–1965): weapons, a combat jacket, a camouflage wear, a camera and other implements, which were given to the museum by the State Security Committee after his death in the village of Papiškės, Utena district. The dissident activity in the Soviet period is widely reflected by the archival material given to the museum by the head of the Lithuanian Freedom League Antanas Terleckas and journalist, poet Gintautas Iešmantas.
